Description
Buffy Cain's in bloom is a small collection of several text-portraits of friends, generated by a memoryless algorithm trained on each friends' writing. It ends with a longer poem written with the memoryless algorithm trained on a select personal canon, composed of some of the author's favorite poets.
About the author
Buffy Cain is a poet from Texas. They studied linguistics and cognitive science at MIT before running off to Brooklyn. Their work is concerned with and made of procedurally generated fluff, drifting thoughts, compartmentalized feelings, and structured noise. Their first book of poetry (n+1)+1 was published with Gauss PDF Editions. Other work can be found in Code and Concept, Arachne, Rendering Unconscious, Codette, and FloppyPoppyWidy MATTER.
